I really enjoy the Patagonia Kindle 2 case. I don't worry as much about knocking over a glass of water onto my Kindle while it is on the night stand or end table. The other reviews are correct about the corner straps being a little loose. I've not found this to be much of a problem unless you are slinging it around the room. When the strap pops loose, I fix it. I'm not sure about the Product Description that says you can read the Kindle and it still be protected from water. Maybe they know something I do not.

Overall, I recommend this case to anyone.

Over all this is GREAT!
In a home that has animals, this cover keeps the fur out of the Kindle!
What I don't like about, 1) Moving the zipper over the cornors by the hinge, it's too tight. 2) the inside corners that hold the Kindle in place, don't go over the Kindle far enough. Any given cornor of My Kindle pops out at least once a day. 3) While the size of the cover is great, and the handle is ok, there needs to be either a short handle on the side, so that it can be carried like a briefcase, or a long handle so that it can be carried like a shoulder bag. Nothing too long, say about 24 inches end-to-end. The one I made for my Kindle, works fine.

When I purchased this product I thought it would be great. It looked great and durable. The ONE BIG problem was that my Kindle did not fit in the four corner small straps. The kindle kept falling out of the straps. I fixed the problem by putting double sided velcro on the back and now the Kindle does not move. You should add some velcro to the packaging in case other people have the same problem

I really like this Kindle case. It is heavy duty, strong zipper and I especially like the handles on the outside, makes it really easy to carry. I have dropped my kindle at least once and it did not get damaged with the cover on it. The elastic corner holders are nice but can slip out once in awhile, but really not a big deal.

The only problem I had was when I opened it all the way the Kindle would pop out. Thats why it gets a 3.
