A Love Unimagined Cinnia, sorceress of Belmair, expected to claim her rightful place as ruler, not as the wife of a stranger chosen by Belmair's magical guardian. 1.0 stars The Sorceress of Belmair, 2009-12-16;   By: C. Rettig(cabot, PA United States)

The Sorceress of Belmair is a disappointing read.

The plot has potential as a romantic fantasy, but the story fails due to poor writing. The characters are one-dimensional and their dialogue is absurdly awkward. Little attempt is made to enliven the novel through the use of figurative language such as simile, metaphor, personification, etc. Thus, the writing style is dull and lifeless. The graphic sex scenes are crudely detailed with modern slang and profanities. I have read the other novels in the World of Hetar series, and each one is progressively worse.

This is book four in the World of Hetar series. It was impossible to find in book stores so I ordered it off Amazon. The book arrived in good condition and well within the delivery deadline.

The book starts out sort of slow but gradually picks up. I wasn't too fond of it as it sort of deviates from the main plot that's been going on in the series. "Sorceress" focuses mainly on Lara's oldest son Dillion instead of the plot-line that's been taking place over the three previous books. It was a good book but I would have saved this particular plot until the main plot concerning Lara's destiny and the fate of Hetar and Terah was finished. I feel it takes away from the main purpose of the series.

4.0 stars another juicy one from Bertrice Small, 2009-09-27;   By: Lisa M. Laubenstein(Boston, MA)
She never disappoints - many similar images and events in her work, but always different enough to keep you interested. I like this fantasy series, and I'm not generally a big 'fantasy world' reader. Lots of hot juicy 'love action' too...

5.0 stars The Hetar Series, 2009-08-28;   By: Melanie N. Leone
There are 5 books to the Hetar Series. The books were so good, I could not put them down. I had the first book in this series, but had to order the other 4. I used A1 Books to order books 2-4. I was very happy with A1 Books. They were delivered in a timely fashion. I will always use A1 Books in the future.
