On the DVD
The special features for Twilight kick off with an audio commentary with director Catherine Hardwicke and stars Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson. There's some mumbling and groaning from Stewart (one gets the impression that Stewart is quite similar to her reserved character in the film), some standard behind-the-scenes observations from Hardwicke, and a lot of awkward self-deprecating remarks from Pattinson (of their big kiss, he opines: "This is quite difficult 'cause I have a really flat head, and so it's quite difficult to get a correct angle."). What's funny is Pattinson stumping Hardwicke with some basic plot questions, like "Why doesn't James just kill [Bella when she's packing at her house]?" While Hardwicke and Stewart attempt to answer, Pattinson doesn't appear satisfied. The deleted and extended scenes include an additional dream-sequence kiss (rightly cut because it took away from the buildup to their first kiss) and more footage of Victoria (Rachelle Lefevre). The seven-part documentary is a pretty thorough look at the development of the film, including stunts, special effects, and the involvement of author Stephenie Meyer. Another featurette looks at the Comic-Con frenzy; however, it spends no time on how the actors were cast, which would have been fun for fans who did all their own mental casting while reading the books. Also included: three music videos and trailers. --Ellen A. Kim

Twilight (Two Disc Special Edition),
2010-03-14;
By: L. Wright(NV)
I pre-ordered the 'Twilight: New Moon' DVD and also bought 'Twilight' (2 Disc Special Edition) at the same time. 'Twilight' arrived rather quickly. (The New Moon DVD will be sent later this month after it's release date). I really enjoyed the commentaries by Catherine Hardwicke, Kristin Stewart and Rob Pattinson on this Special Edition DVD, along with the special features section.
really bad doesn't begin to describe it...,

please people this movie is not worth the gum at the bottom of your shoe please dont buy it because you might inspire them to create a third part this movie is so bad your going to want to gore your eyes out with a spoon. This is strictly for fans of the book. The love was lame, the action was awful, and the main characters were jokes if any of the other characters where the main characters it probably would have been ten times better. The only reason this movies so popular because everyone wanted it to be good but it wasnt and everyone is still living in their dream world. Dont buy this movie its the worst decision you could possible make...ever!

from my last review of the new moon 2 disc edition i felt it was my duty to review the first in the twilight saga "twilight" i understand there are new fans everyday and they may be slightly put off by my review for the second movie about the content.
Twilight does deliver what any 2 disc edition should.
deleted scenes, production videos and featurettes, music videos...just to name a few.
of course this edition does not include the becoming of bella nor becoming edward the piano concert and vampire kiss montage as well is not inclued like it is on the UK edition of the 2 disc and blu-ray.
picture is alot clearer and kristen stewarts voice is original NOT DUBBED like europian / australian edition which is a plus.
story content is what you would expect from a vampire/human TEENAGE relationship.
Like the books the main character of Bella Swan does get repetitive and she is simply lost within a spell of the dark mysterious Edward Cullen. even though i am a massive fan of the twilight saga Bellas attitude and the lengths she will go to get what she wants just get pathetic.
If your not going to take the storyline too seriously or get offended it is definately worth it.
i do reccomend people watch the movie and give it a chance rememeber this review is just one of my own.
it is quite faithful to the book minus the train of bellas thoughts and nauseating dialogue in a way if you are new to the twilight saga i would actually reccomend watching the movie before the book. Of the US versions of this dvd, this is definately the one to buy. from what i believe the content is the same on the blu-ray
