The verbatim dual layer DVD's came as promised. Verbatim is the best, and worked well. The item arrived on time.

I have tried a lot of different Dual-Layer DVD+R, and the Verbatim are by far the best. With other brands, there would always be some that didn't work, but with the Verbatim it is 100%. No bad ones! I will stick with Verbatim in the future!
I just don't know anymore..Saddens me..Where to now?,

I've used verbatim DLs exclusively for the past 3 years..I lived through the horror of the memorex DLs and will never go back. Their customer service is terrible..Their DLs the same
The Verbatims WERE amazing. I honestly think I went 3 years without making a coaster..Using Roxio , Nero, and IMGburn.
Lately though..It seems like about 1 in 15 on average are bad..This is acceptable..but Im looking elsewhere now for something like the amazing days of the old verbatims...Of course you mile may vary...but I can't recall making a coaster during that 3 year period..So what Im experiencing now..makes me wonder is it going to continue to get worse?
I'm trying TDKs right now..Will edit this post after I evaluate them.
Will never go back to memorex..Ive heard sonys are good..not sure..Just what a friend told me.
I have three burners. It isnt the drive(s) that are the problem..Failures have occurred in each of these drives..no pattern except, for me. a pretty consistent 1-15 failure rate.
I Will update after i get through the TDKs

When through 50 Memorex DVD+R DLs and only had a successful burn approximately 20% of the time. With Verbatim I have yet to have a bad burn. Any difference in cost is offset by the value of your time. Can't remember why exaclty I even bought Memorex but will never again buy any other brand until they can prove their reliability. One thing to keep in mind is that the data integrity of your discs will degrade over time, even if you keep them in an ideal environment and in perfect condition. I would assume that Verbatims may last a little longer. So I you have precious data, you don't want to go with anything less.
