Over all its a good product. Thermostat works well. Haven't had any trouble so far.
Really puts a lot of heat out of it....but only fan mode is just useless,

It is worth of its price. really pumps out of lot of heat.....but the fan only mode is simply useless.....as you won't feel any airblow even if you are staning in front of this.....but heat mode is simply awesome.......the thermostat is not as much accurate as a digital one...but it does what it meant for......for winter use....its simply awesome as per its price tag...i am happy with it.

The DeLonghi DCH 1030 is an excellent space heater. It is small but packs a lot of heat. We purchased it for our audio room which is about 20x20 and it gets the room warm quickly. It is lightweight and easy to move from room to room. The controls are not well marked and it is nosier than I would have liked but is is a good value for the money.

This unit is pretty weak. It is okay for very small, enclosed spaces, but forget about larger rooms. I much prefer the Lasko 755320 heater I bought around the same time.

This little heater is easy to use, will not heat up a 12 x 20 room to make it toasty, but that's not what I wanted it for. I just wanted it to take the edge off the cool room when we had the prolonged cold spell we had (have?) here in Florida. It works just fine for that purpose. I doubt if it has enough "umph" to warm a room in a northern climate unless you leave it running constantly at max and then it would help but not be enough, but it does just fine down here. It seems fairly well built, it has two wattages and a couple of fan speeds. It has a small "footprint" and can be placed almost anywhere in an open area and is fairly stable (as in it doesn't seem easily knocked over). It seems reliable too. The fan makes a little noise but nothing too intrusive. I would buy another if I needed it.
